Spain – info on the country & people
In order to ensure that your resort holiday to Spain is a complete success, we’ve put together everything worth knowing for your stay here: Spain – weather and optimal travel times
Spain has completely contrasting climate zones that range from the mountainous climate of the north to the Mediterranean and sub-tropical climates of the south. The best time for a resort holiday in Andalusia and the Balearics is from around April to September. Those who would like to swim in the Mediterranean are advised to travel from June on. A very pleasant climate prevails on the Canary Islands throughout the year, making it possible to enjoy holidays here even outside the peak season.
Traveling to and from Spain
Flying is the fastest way to arrive in sunny Spain. The most important Spanish airports are easy to reach from most airports in Europe. Flights to Majorca are often only about 3 hours. Flights to Malaga in Andalusia take an average of 4 hours and the Canary Islands can be reached in about 5 hours. All the important information on travel requirements to Spain is available on the State Department homepage. Check-in at all ROBINSON clubs is usually from 3 p.m. In order to ensure enough time for thorough room cleaning, check-out is until 12 p.m. on the day of departure. This allows us to provide you and all guests as pleasant an arrival and departure as possible.
On the sun-drenched south coast of Fuerteventura, you will find our two CLUBS JANDIA PLAYA and ESQUINZO PLAYA in unique beach locations directly by the azure blue sea. The seemingly endless, fine, wide sandy beach is not just the first choice for water sports fans. It also offers guests of all ages who are looking for relaxation plenty of space and opportunities to indulge in a wide range of leisure activities. Thanks to the steady temperatures, you will find perfect conditions for a beach holiday all year round. On the island tour, visitors are enthralled by the untouched, barren and largely uninhabited landscape with its contrast of white sand and black stone. The small, old parts of the island provide rustic excursion destinations and offer one thing in particular: tranquility.
You have never seen this side of Majorca! Here in the south east, the island has preserved its original Mediterranean charm. Solo travelers and couples in particular value the wide range of possibilities on offer along the picturesque rocky coastline broken up by beaches: whether on a mountain bike, a horse or in the saddle of a Harley Davidson®, you will see Majorca in all its natural beauty. The 120,000 m² resort grounds of CLUB CALA SERENA with its idyllic gardens are situated directly by the sea on a peninsula next to a small, sandy bay.
