East Austria has high temperature differences between its dry, hot summer months and comparatively cold winters. In contrast, the climate of the mountain regions of the Austrian Alps is characterised by short, humid summers and rainy winters. Further south, the climate becomes almost Mediterranean. The best time for a resort holiday in Austria is actually all year round. The skiing season begins in November and ends in April. Summer and autumn offer the ideal conditions for mountaineers. In order to ensure enough time for thorough room cleaning, check-out is until 12 pm on the day of departure. This allows us to provide you and all our guests as pleasant an arrival and departure as possible.

Austria is one of the destinations that are attractive year-round. In regions at higher altitudes, the skiing season lasts from November to April. From May to the end of October, conditions are perfect for an active holiday in the mountains. Water sports enthusiasts mingle at the Austrian lakes from June to September.
When you travelling in your own car, keep in mind that the highways and motorways in Austria have tolls. A vignette, which you attach to your windshield, is available at all petrol stations. From 1 November to 15 April, you must drive with winter tyres or even snow chains in case of winter road conditions.
