Transfer by plane and speedboat:
Transfer to and from Malé includes an inland flight to Ifuru and then continuing on by speedboat. It takes 80 minutes (35 minutes by plane and 45 minutes by speedboat). The obligatory transfer charge to and from Malé, including inland flight and speedboat, is included in the travel price and added by the system during booking. After arriving at the international airport in Malé, there is another flight with a local airline to Ifuru airport in Raa Atoll, flight time approx. 35 minutes in a Dornier DO 228 small aircraft (17 seats) or a Bombardier Dash-8/200 or 300 (50 seats). From there, guests will be taken to the resort by speedboat; transfer time to ROBINSON CLUB NOONU is approx. 45 minutes. Flights to and from Ifuri Airport are based on the arrival and departure time of the inland flight with the local airline in Malé. Because the transfer is timed to follow arriving flights, a waiting time at Malé Airport when flying in must be expected – possibly longer in the event of bad weather. For return trips, departure from Ifuru Airport on Raa Atoll is usually 4_5 hours before the international flight from Malé. Occasionally, in case of bad weather, it is earlier than this. You can spend your waiting time when arriving enjoying tea, coffee, soft drinks, small baked goods, local newspapers and Internet access in the business class lounge at Malé International Airport (no extra charge). In case of delayed arrival to the Maldives (from around 11 p.m.) or in case of bad weather, a transfer to/from Malé is not possible and overnight accommodation in a transfer hotel on the main island of Malé will be arranged. Please be aware that your entire luggage must be transported on both the transfer flight to Ifuru as well as on the speedboat. For this reason, the maximum luggage allowance is 20 kg plus 5 kg hand luggage (this also applies to customers who are traveling first class, business class or comfort class). In addition, sports equipment of up to 10 kg (such as diving equipment) is possible for each guest. It is free to transfer sports equipment with "Maldivian" and on the speedboat, but it must be arranged in advance with the resort. Excess baggage will be transported if possible or sent on separately (cost: around 2-4 USD/kg excess). However, it must be arranged in advance with the resort.Transfer by seaplane:It also possible to book transfer by seaplane with a TUI package and TUI individual bookings (email: email@example.com or by phone on: +49 (0) 511 / 567 80104). The maximum number of people per flight is 15. The surcharge is;
After arrival at Malé International Airport, the connecting flight continues on with seaplane. Because the transfer is timed to follow arriving flights, a waiting time at Malé Airport when flying in must be expected – possibly longer in the event of bad weather. Transfer via seaplane is only possible during daylight hours. Arrivals later than 3:45 p.m. and departures before 9 a.m. to/from Malé are not eligible for transfer flights (possible only during daylight hours). Overnight accommodation in a transfer hotel on the main island will therefore be required. Alternatively, the transfer via inland flight and speedboat, as described above, can be arranged. Return flights at night (after midnight) require transfer from your holiday island to the airport on the preceding day. Please be aware that your entire luggage will be transported on the seaplane. For this reason, the maximum luggage allowance is 20 kg and 5 kg hand luggage (this also applies to customers who are traveling first class, business class or comfort class). Excess baggage will be transported if possible or sent on separately (cost: around 2-4 USD/kg excess). However, it must be arranged in advance with the resort.
