BalAyur
Our new concept BalAyur (Bal = Balance, Ayur = Life) is based on the principles of Ayurveda and is a triad of WellFit-Active, WellFit-Spa and Food & Beverage.

DIVING*
If you want to experience the Red Sea with its incomparable underwater world up close, then dive with us all year round in the dream bay of ROBINSON SOMA BAY. Right next to the Resort is one of the largest dive centres in the region and a legendary panoramic reef with a steep drop to 100 metres. This colourful underwater world is fascinating, with its biodiversity of hundreds of anemone species as well as clownfish, barracudas, anthias and schools of sardines.

Our water sports station is open all day and offers daily equipment and area instructions as well as modern, technically high-quality equipment for use. All of our water sports instructors are VDWS-certified trainers and hold the relevant VDWS (German Association of Watersports Schools) licences. CATAMARAN SAILING
ROBINSON lets you soar over the waves — with our catamaran courses: from beginner to advanced. You can expect high-quality equipment, professional supervision from our licensed instructors and, of course, a water sports school right on the beach.

WING FOILING
Are they flying over the water? Something like that! Foiling is the latest trend in water sports. But this new technique doesn't just look spectacular – it's a real innovation!

When foiling, you are lifted up by the dynamic lift of the hydrofoils under the water as you ride. This means that the hull no longer touches the water and the surfboard floats above the water's surface. Even in light winds, high speeds can be reached, as the wing-like foils under the surfboards reduce displacement and frictional resistance.

ROBS (13-17 years)²
ROBS is the name given by ROBINSON to young people aged 13 and over. Here they can expect games, fun and parties with our Youth ROBINS. Whether sports events or disco specials, youth shows, creative workshops or outing adventures - the ROBS feel extremely comfortable here.

SPORTS
Kids and teens can take part in their favourite sport in all age groups (depending on the sport) or discover new sports and practise with trained professionals. Detailed information can be found under the respective activity.

Although padel, or padel tennis, is still a very young sport, it is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Developed in Mexico in 1965, the modern game was introduced to Europe in Marbella, southern Spain, in 1974.

Equipment: 

• 1 padel court (artificial turf with quartz sand)

Padel is played exclusively in doubles, usually in 3 sets, and generally follows the rules of tennis. Points are also counted as in tennis.

RULES OF PLAY:

Serve

• First serve from the right side, the player stands behind the baseline 
• Underhand stroke — bounce the ball on the floor and hit it at or below hip level 
• Ball must be hit into the diagonally opposite two-part T-field 
• Ball must not hit anything other than the glass, not the fence
   

Rallies

• The use of the back and side walls as a playing field is permitted 
• The ball must bounce once in the field of play before it touches the wall 
• The ball may touch down no more than once 
• The ball may only be played back when it has passed the net 
• Volleys are allowed 
• A player may hit it against its own walls to get the ball over the net

Do you need a suitable match partner at your level? There are always plenty of suitable candidates to be found on our well-maintained courts. Are you looking for a tennis coach to improve your game and who'll adapt to your level? All of our licensed coaches tailor themselves to the needs and wishes of our guests. Do you need excellent quality rackets and balls? We believe that first-class equipment is essential for quality tennis. All you need now is a bit of grit, desire, passion and your tennis shoes.
