Our water sports station is open all day and offers daily introductions to equipment and activity areas, as well as modern, high-tech equipment for you to use. All our water sports instructors are VDWS-certified trainers with the relevant VDWS (German Association of Watersport Schools) licences.

WATER SPORTS AREA

SAILING
Float over the waves with ROBINSON catamaran and Optimist courses for beginners and advanced sailors. You will find high-quality equipment, professional supervision from our licenced trainers and, of course, a water sports school directly on the beach.

WING/WINDSURF FOILING
Do they fly over the water? Something like that! Foiling is the top trend when it comes to water sports. But the new technique doesn't just look spectacular — it's a real innovation!

When foiling, you are lifted by the dynamic buoyancy of the hydrofoil lying under the water during the ride. This means that the hull no longer touches the water and the surfboard floats above the water’s surface. Even with a little wind, it’s still possible to reach high speeds, as the wing-like foils underneath the surfboards reduce displacement and frictional resistance.

E-FOILING

Are you ready to experience the water in a new and adventurous way? With e-foiling, you can float over the water with the ease of surfing and the speed of sailing. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced surfer, flying has never been so easy!

An E-Foil is an electrically powered hydrofoil surfboard that combines the latest technology with the classic surfing experience. The hydrofoil wing under water generates lift when accelerating, lifting the board out of the water, reducing drag and creating a feeling of floating. Thanks to the battery-powered motor, the E-Foil can be used independently of wind and waves. It combines speed, control and agility and offers a new and environmentally friendly way to enjoy water sports.

• 60-minute introductory course: In this intensive 60-minute course, you will be introduced to e-foiling step by step. After a short briefing on land, you will go directly to the water, where you will try out your first flying manoeuvres, first lying down and then standing up.
• 30-minute introductory course: In a shorter introduction, you will learn the basic techniques and experience the unique feeling of floating on the water.

STAND-UP PADDLING
Paddling across the water while standing up has not only become increasingly popular over the years but has also been officially recognised as a sport. Put your balance, strength and endurance to the test while enjoying the beautiful scenery here at our ROBINSON resort.

ROBS² (ages 13–17)

Although padel, or padel tennis, is still a very young sport, it is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Developed in Mexico in 1965, the modern game was introduced to Europe in Marbella, southern Spain, in 1974.

Equipment: 

• 3 padel courts (artificial turf with quartz sand) - the courts are PPA-certified and meet the standards for professional padel tournaments.

Padel is played exclusively in doubles, usually in 3 sets, and generally follows the rules of tennis. Points are also counted as in tennis.

RULES OF PLAY:

Serve

• First serve from the right side, the player stands behind the baseline 
• Underhand stroke — bounce the ball on the floor and hit it at or below hip level 
• Ball must be hit into the diagonally opposite two-part T-field 
• Ball must not hit anything other than the glass, not the fence
   

Rallies

• The use of the back and side walls as a playing field is permitted 
• The ball must bounce once in the field of play before it touches the wall 
• The ball may touch down no more than once 
• The ball may only be played back when it has passed the net 
• Volleys are allowed 
• A player may hit it against its own walls to get the ball over the net
