It all started in 1970 with a unique concept and the hotel JANDIA PLAYA on the Spanish island of Fuerteventura. ROBINSON wanted to create a completely new type of resort – a home away from home where people could just be themselves. Where there were endless activities to choose from, but everyone was free to do as they pleased. Where guests were welcomed like old friends and there was always something new to experience.

Today, ROBINSON has 25 resorts in 15 countries, but our philosophy has never changed. We want to offer the best holidays possible – whether you are a couple, a family or travelling solo. The majority of our clubs cater to all types of guests, while others are specially designed for families or are just for adults. We have up to 64 different sports on offer and an exciting daily entertainment programme featuring plays and activities, parties, comedy sets, dancing, live music and children’s shows. Meals are a feast from a delicious buffet with regional products, live cooking and a whole section of healthy options in the WellFood area.
And every resort has that wonderfully unique ROBINSON feeling that you’ll notice from the moment you arrive. Over the years, more than half of our clubs have been recognised with awards, making us one of the world’s most respected and popular holiday providers, with a 96 % recommendation rate.

It has been an incredible half-century for us. And on this special occasion, we would like nothing more than to continue our tradition of sharing good times with our guests.
