Our water sports station is open all day and provides daily equipment and area briefings as well as modern, technically high-quality equipment for use. All water sports staff are trained VDWS instructors and hold the respective VDWS licences.

CATAMARAN SAILING
ROBINSON lets you soar over the waves with our catamaran courses: from beginner to advanced. You can expect high-quality equipment, professional supervision from our licensed instructors and, of course, a water sports school right on the beach.

WING/WINDSURF FOILING
Do they fly over the water? Something like that! Foiling is the top trend when it comes to water sports. But the new technique doesn't just look spectacular — it's a real innovation!

When foiling, you are lifted by the dynamic buoyancy of the hydrofoil lying under the water during the ride. This means that the hull no longer touches the water and the surfboard floats above the water’s surface. Even with a little wind, it’s still possible to reach high speeds, as the wing-like foils underneath the surfboards reduce displacement and frictional resistance.

E-FOILING

Are you ready to experience the water in a new and adventurous way? With e-foiling, you can float over the water with the ease of surfing and the speed of sailing. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced surfer, flying has never been so easy!

An E-Foil is an electrically powered hydrofoil surfboard that combines the latest technology with the classic surfing experience. The hydrofoil wing under water generates lift when accelerating, lifting the board out of the water, reducing drag and creating a feeling of floating. Thanks to the battery-powered motor, the E-Foil can be used independently of wind and waves. It combines speed, control and agility and offers a new and environmentally friendly way to enjoy water sports.

Courses and services:

• 60-minute introductory course: In this intensive 60-minute course, you will be introduced to e-foiling step by step. After a short briefing on land, you will go directly to the water, where you will try out your first flying manoeuvres, first lying down and then standing up.
• 30-minute introductory course: In a shorter introduction, you will learn the basic techniques and experience the unique feeling of floating on the water.

STAND-UP PADDLING
Paddling across the water on your feet is becoming increasingly popular and has long been a recognised sport. Test your balance, strength and stamina against a beautiful backdrop at our ROBINSON Club.

Do you need a suitable match partner at your level? There are always plenty of suitable candidates to be found on our well-maintained courts. Are you looking for a tennis coach to improve your game and who'll adapt to your level? All of our licensed coaches tailor themselves to the needs and wishes of our guests. Do you need excellent quality rackets and balls? For us, first-class equipment is an essential requirement for high-quality tennis.

Players of all ages and performance levels as well as beginners will find just the right motivating environment to suit their personal performance. On our well-maintained tennis facility, our coaches will take you and your tennis game further.

Although padel, also known as padel tennis, is still a very young sport, it is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. Developed in Mexico in 1965, the modern game was introduced to Europe in 1974 in Marbella, in southern Spain.

Facilities:

• 2 padel courts (artificial grass with quartz sand)

For a fee:

• Booking of padel courts, including equipment hire (rackets and balls), is possible via the ROBINSON app from 24 hours in advance. For bookings made more than 24 hours in advance, a separate enquiry is required.

Padel is played exclusively as a doubles game, usually over three sets, and generally follows the rules of tennis. Points are also scored in the same way as in tennis.

RULES OF THE GAME:

Serve

• First serve from the right-hand side; the player stands behind the baseline
• Underhand serve – the ball must bounce on the ground and be played no higher than hip height
• The ball must be played into the diagonally opposite two-part T-area
• The ball may hit the glass at most, but not the fence

Rally

• The back and side walls may be used as part of the playing area
• The ball must bounce once on the playing area before it touches the wall
• The ball may bounce no more than once
• The ball may only be returned once it has passed the net
• Volley shots are permitted
• Players may hit the ball against their own walls to get it over the net

Try a variety of sports and games with or without a ball, where the focus is on fun. For example, beach volleyball, football or water polo. ROBINSON always checks for the latest trends and includes suitable programmes in its range.
