At the ROBY CLUB , our young guests can make new friends, go on little adventures and play to their heart's content in a safe environment and with loving care from our children’s ROBINS.

R.O.B.Y. (7-12 years)
Whether sporty, creative or playful — there is something for everyone in the R.O.B.Y. range. Fun is always at the forefront of all programmes.

ROBS² (13-17 years)
ROBS is the name given by ROBINSON to young people aged 13 and over. Here they can expect games, fun and parties with our Youth ROBINS. Be it sports events or disco specials, youth shows, creative workshops or outing adventures — the ROBS feel super comfortable here.

ROBY SHARKY SWIMMING SCHOOL*
Here, children can learn to swim effectively, safely and playfully with the licensed SHARKY swimming instructors whilst on holiday according to their age group (additional charge).

SPORTS

Our water sports station is open all day and provides daily equipment and area briefings as well as modern, technically high-quality equipment for use. All water sports staff are trained VDWS trainers and hold the respective VDWS licences.

FOILING
Are they flying over the water? Something like that! Foiling is the top trend when it comes to water sports. But the new technique doesn't just look spectacular — it's a real innovation!

When foiling, you are lifted by the dynamic buoyancy of the hydrofoil lying under the water during the ride. This means that the hull no longer touches the water and the surfboard floats above the water’s surface. Even with a little wind, it’s still possible to reach high speeds, as the wing-like foils underneath the surfboards reduce displacement and frictional resistance.

E-FOILING
Are you ready to experience the water in a new and adventurous way? With e-foiling, you can glide across the water with the ease of surfing and the speed of sailing. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced surfer, flying has never been easier!

An E-Foil is an electrically powered hydrofoil surfboard that combines state-of-the-art technology with the classic surfing experience. The underwater hydrofoil wing generates lift when accelerating and lifts the board out of the water, reducing drag and giving a feeling of floating. Thanks to its battery-powered motor, the E-Foil can be used regardless of wind and waves. It combines speed, control and agility, offering a new and environmentally friendly way to enjoy water sports.

Courses and services:

• Introductory course 60 minutes: In this intensive 60-minute course, you will be introduced to e-foiling step by step. After a short briefing on land, you will head straight out onto the water, where you will first try out your first flying manoeuvres lying down and later standing up.
• Introductory course 30 minutes: In a shorter introduction, you will learn the basic techniques and experience the unique feeling of floating above the water.

STAND-UP PADDLING
Paddling across the water on your feet is becoming more and more popular and has long been a recognised sport. Test your balance, strength and endurance against a beautiful backdrop here at the ROBINSON Club.

Do you need a suitable match partner at your level? There are always plenty of suitable candidates to be found on our well-maintained courts. Are you looking for a tennis coach to improve your game and who'll adapt to your level? All of our licensed coaches tailor themselves to the needs and wishes of our guests. Do you need excellent quality rackets and balls? We believe that first-class equipment is essential for quality tennis. All you need now is a bit of grit, desire, passion and your tennis shoes.

Although padel, also known as padel tennis, is still a very young sport, it is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. Developed in Mexico in 1965, the modern game was introduced to Europe in 1974 in Marbella, in southern Spain.

Facilities:

• 2 padel courts (artificial grass with quartz sand)

For a fee:

• Booking of padel courts, including equipment hire (rackets and balls), is possible via the ROBINSON app from 24 hours in advance. For bookings made more than 24 hours in advance, a separate enquiry is required.

Padel is played exclusively as a doubles game, usually over three sets, and generally follows the rules of tennis. Points are also scored in the same way as in tennis.

RULES OF THE GAME:

Serve

• First serve from the right-hand side; the player stands behind the baseline
• Underhand serve – the ball must bounce on the ground and be played no higher than hip height
• The ball must be played into the diagonally opposite two-part T-area
• The ball may only touch the glass at most; it must not touch the fence

Rally

• The back and side walls may be used as part of the playing area
• The ball must bounce once on the playing area before it touches the wall
• The ball may bounce no more than once
• The ball may only be returned once it has passed the net
• Volley shots are permitted
• Players may hit the ball against their own walls to get it over the net
