Table tennis

A small air-filled ball made of celluloid, a playing field made of wood and aluminium and a racket made of several layers of wood glued together... or simply a ball, table and bat — that's what we need for a fast-paced table tennis match.

No longer the dusty game from grandad's garage, this sport is also very popular here. It is an integral part of the sportstainment programme at almost all resorts. And for good reason: anyone can quickly learn to play balls across the table using the small racket. So it's also a generational sport — grandad plays with his grandson, mum with dad and friends with each other.
And for those who want to know how good they already are, there are tournaments included in the programme. The guests-versus-ROBINS competitions are particularly popular here.

This fast and attractive sport inspires young and old, is played in the open air or indoors, defies all weather conditions and has a very prominent patron at ROBINSON: Jörg "Rossi" Roßkopf is a former table tennis player and the current coach of the German national team. He is also the only German world champion in this sport to day.
