        • Information on the registration obligation and possible corona tests for travellers

Some destinations require travelers to register and provide information about themselves and their whereabouts before entering the country. Enclosed you will find up-to-date information on which countries are affected and how to obtain documents and further information on entry. We recommend that you check the latest travel and security information from the Federal Foreign Office well in advance of your departure!

Greece and Islands (Club Ierapetra, Club Kyllini Beach, Club Daidalos):

Entry into Greece is possible again from 01.07.2020. According to the current entry regulations for Greece, entry is only permitted if an electronic entry form is submitted to the Greek authorities 48 hours in advance. You can find this form here: https://travel.gov.gr/#/ Alternatively, travellers can fill in the form via the mobile App Visit Greece, which is available in the Play Store and the App Store.

Upon arrival in Greece, selective corona tests are carried out and should be completed quickly. Until the test results are available, the Greek authorities recommend that the tested visitors pay attention to "social distancing" in the hotel and at their holiday destination for 24 hours and observe the distance rules also known from your country.

          Italy (Club Apulia):

In some southern Italian regions there is currently a registration obligation in connection with COVID-19, including the region of Puglia, where our Club Apulia is located. Before entering these regions, travelers are required to fill out registration documents and submit them to the local authorities 48 hours before departure/start of travel. Please note the following:

          • It is obligatory to fill in a self-assessment form which can be downloaded online from the institutional website of the Region (available in Italian and English). The completed form must be sent by e-mail to the ASL Prevention Department (Health Offices) of the province where you are staying.
          • Please note: the form is NOT available in printed form on board the plane or ship. The form must be completed 48 hours before your departure for Italy. The form must be kept and carried in paper or PDF format for the entire duration of your stay. It is also necessary to keep the list of places you have visited and people you have met or visited during your stay for 30 days.

Spain and Islands (Club Cala Serena, Club Esquinzo Playa, Club Jandia Playa)

Since 1 July 2020, according to a resolution of the Spanish government, a form has to be filled out in the Spain Travel Health Portal for health checks, which generates a QR code that must be presented upon entry. This can also be done via the free SpTH app. The registration can be done at the earliest 48 hours before intended entry. For a transitional period, a paper form can still be filled out upon entry. The form and the possibility to download the app can be found here: https://www.spth.gob.es/

When entering Spain, a health check is carried out by measuring temperature, evaluation by the health authorities and a visual inspection of the traveller. Persons with a temperature of more than 37.5 °C or other abnormalities are subjected to a more detailed examination.

Compulsory test Canary Islands: From 14 November 2020, guests in tourist accommodation establishments (e.g. hotels, guesthouses, holiday homes) must present a negative COVID test on arrival, which must not be older than 72 hours. The test result can be carried along in paper form or on the smartphone. The result must include the full name of the person tested, the name of the laboratory and the date and time of the test. Both PCR and rapid antigen tests are accepted. The test should preferably be carried out in the home country, but can also be carried out locally at designated test sites. As a rule, the costs for this are to be carried by the guest. If the test is positive on entry, a 14-day quarantine is mandatory.
